One of the most prominent Central American conductors, Norman Gamboa is Music Director of the Sonoma County Philharmonic, the Rio Grande Valley Ballet Orchestra, and the Brownsville Chamber Orchestra. He is also Director of Orchestral Activities at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Gamboa has appeared numerous times as guest conductor with renowned orchestras in major cities throughout the US, Central and South America, as well as Eastern Europe.
